ISA AND BELA BRING JOY TO ‘TIANGGE SA BUSAY ES 2026’

The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, through the City Information Office headed by CIO Mendry-Ann Lim as represented by Mobile Library Focal Jham-Jham Kalbi, proudly joined Busay Elementary School, led by School Principal Dr. Edna Montebon, in celebrating the closing of Nutrition Month 2026, July 31.

As part of the celebration, pupils from different grade levels showcased and sold a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, promoting healthy eating habits and the importance of proper nutrition.

Adding fun and excitement to the event were ISA and BELA, who delighted the students with lively dances, interactive games, and cheerful performances. Together with the Mobile Library Team, they created a joyful and memorable experience that encouraged children to embrace healthy living while enjoying the spirit of learning and community.

Through activities like these, the City Government of Isabela continues to support schools in promoting health, education, and the overall well-being of every young Isabeleño. (Words and Photos by J. Kalbi, CIO)
