Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman welcomed officials from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during separate courtesy calls on July 30, reaffirming the City Government’s commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration in promoting public safety, peace and order, and community welfare. Also present was City Administrator Pedrito Eisma.
Leading the courtesy call was Basilan Police Provincial Office Provincial Director PCOL Edison Dumangas, accompanied by PNP Isabela City Police Station Chief of Police PLCOL Wilfredo Palamos Jr. The meeting focused on current peace and order concerns and other public safety matters, highlighting the importance of continued coordination between the Philippine National Police and the City Government.




Mayor Turabin-Hataman also welcomed the newly installed Acting Provincial Fire Marshal of Zamboanga Sibugay, FSUPT Reggy Olmedo, during a courtesy call attended by Isabela City Fire Station Acting City Fire Marshal FSINSP Vincent Toribio. The visit formally introduced FSUPT Olmedo following his assumption to office and provided an opportunity to discuss areas of mutual interest aimed at further strengthening coordination and partnership between the City Government and the Bureau of Fire Protection.
Meanwhile, PDEA-Isabela City Officer Fidel Calantoc paid a courtesy call on Mayor Turabin-Hataman. During the meeting, the newly established PDEA Isabela City Office was formally introduced, and discussions focused on strengthening coordination in the implementation of anti-illegal drug initiatives and expanding community-based drug prevention programs in Isabela City.
