MAYOR TURABIN-HATAMAN KEYNOTES AIM FUTURE BRIDGING LEADERS PROGRAM

City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman served as keynote speaker during the Public Recital of the Future Bridging Leaders Program (FBLP) Cohort 6 of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) on July 24 in Makati City. Also present during the event was District 1 Board Ahmed Ibn Djaliv Hataman.

With the theme “Youth Action in Regenerating Pathways to Sustainable Futures,” the program gathered emerging leaders from across the Philippines committed to advancing sustainable development, strengthening community resilience, and addressing societal challenges through collaborative action.

Established in 2014, FBLP is AIM’s flagship youth leadership development fellowship and social innovation program anchored on the Bridging Leadership framework of Ownership, Co-Ownership, and Co-Creation. Supported by TeAM Energy Foundation, Inc., Cohort 6 provided fellows with opportunities to develop community-based initiatives on health and wellness, environmental sustainability, participatory governance, livelihood, education, food security, and social inclusion.

The Public Recital marked the culmination of the fellowship, where participants presented their advocacies and Change Projects to potential collaborators, partners, and funders. The event also featured the announcement of the Top 5 Fellows, awarding of certificates, an FBLP Alumni Association update, and other closing activities.
