YOUTH LEADERS GET TO IMMERSE IN ‘KAPESABELA: FROM FARM TO CUP’ EXPERIENCE

Wrapping up the three-day KAPEsabela: From Farm to Cup – Elevating the Local Coffee Experience, participants — composed of Out-of-School Youth, 4-H Club Isabela City, GSP, and BSP members — capped their learning journey with an exciting Coffee Processing and Brewing Experience, October 9.
Hosted by the City Government of Isabela under Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, through the City Agriculture Office, the final day brought the group to UWARBMPC, where they witnessed how freshly harvested berries are transformed into premium-quality coffee beans.
The adventure continued at JB Dans Hall for a Coffee Brewing Demonstration led by local cafés and baristas — giving the youth their first sip of coffee they traced from the farm to the cup.
From planting, touring, berry picking, to brewing — KAPEsabela has successfully planted not just coffee, but passion, livelihood inspiration, and local pride in the hearts of young Isabeleños. (Words by R. Albani/Photos by A. Puti, IsaTV)
