SK FEDERATION STRENGTHENS FISCAL LEADERSHIP THROUGH BUDGET PREPARATION WORKSHOP

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation, led by Councilor Naila Belleng, in partnership with the Liga ng mga Barangay headed by ABC President Abral Abdurahman and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)–Isabela City, continued the second day of its Orientation-Workshop on the Preparation and Formulation of the SK Budget pursuant to DBM-DILG-NYC Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1, Series of 2025, October 9.
The activity aimed to strengthen the capacity of SK officials in fiscal management and planning, equipping them with updated knowledge on the appropriation, release, and utilization of SK funds. The activity gathered the second batch of SK participants representing the barangays of Aguada, Baluno, Begang, Binuangan, Cabunbata, Calvario, Diki, Doña Ramona, Kapatagan Grande, Kapayawan, Kaumpurnah Zones I, II, and III, Maligue, Masula, Menzi, Panunsulan, Port Area, Riverside, Seaside, Small Kapatagan, Sumagdang, Timpul, and Tampalan.
Representing Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, City Administrator Pedrito Eisma reaffirmed the city’s commitment to empowering youth leaders as responsible stewards of public resources, while ABC President Abdurahman urged SK officials to design programs responsive to the needs of young Isabeleños.
