ISABELA CITY – The second batch of the Zamboanga del Sur delegation, composed of 654 student-athletes, coaches, and officials, arrived at the Isabela City Port on April 5 to join the upcoming Zamboanga Peninsula Athletic Association (ZPRAA) Meet 2026.
Led by their delegation heads and officials, the group was warmly welcomed by Vice Mayor Al-Jhemar Ajibon and the City Schools Division Sports Officer Dr. Arnel B. Hajan together with the City and Division protocol team, ensuring a smooth arrival and transition.
The dazzling rhythm of BNHS marching band adds thrill and excitement to the delegation as they march their way out of the vessel.
Following their disembarkation, the delegates were transported to their designated billeting areas, where they will stay throughout the duration of the week-long sporting event. The ZPRAA 2026 is set to kick off with the parade of athletes and opening ceremony on April 6, with competitions running from April 7 to 10, and the closing program scheduled on April 11.
This arrival follows the first batch of delegates who reached the city on April 4, bringing the total number of Zamboanga del Sur participants to over 950. The delegation is expected to compete in various sports disciplines, aiming to showcase their skills and bring honor to their province.
The city division, in coordination with the city government and partner agencies, has prepared comprehensive arrangements for accommodation, transportation, security, and other support services to ensure the comfort and safety of all delegates and guests.
