OPERATION BLESSING MEDICAL MISSION, MAGDADALA NG SERBISYO SA 1,500 ISABELAÑO

Sa Pambansang Araw ng mga Bayani, ika-25 ng Agosto, tinanggap ni Punong Lungsod Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman ang pagbisita ng Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, Inc. (OB) sa pangunguna nina Donna Villagracia (Program Coordinator) at mga kasama na sina Ruel Jalon at Abraham Oliveros, sa pamamagitan ni Konsehal Alexes Ututalum, kaugnay ng kanilang isasagawang isang linggong Operation Blessing Medical Mission katuwang ang Tau Gamma Phi.

Ang Operation Blessing Medical Mission ay gaganapin mula Oktubre 6–14, na layuning mailapit sa ating mga kababayan ang libreng konsultasyong medikal at dental, pamamahagi ng gamot at pagbibigay ng wheelchairs para sa mga nangangailangan. Tinatayang mahigit 1,500 pasyente o nasa 300 kada araw ang makikinabang mula sa misyong ito. Kasama sa bibisitahin ang mga sumusunod na barangay: Lukbuton, Marang-Marang, Calvario, Masola, Kumalarang, at Baluno.

Ang Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, Inc. (OB) ay isang non-profit na organisasyon at makataong sangay ng CBN Asia, ang producer ng The 700 Club Asia na ipinalalabas sa GMA TV. Ang OB ay isang rehistradong NGO sa Kagawaran ng Kagalingan at Pagpapaunlad Panlipunan (DSWD) at Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC), na may lisensya upang magpatupad ng mga programang panlipunan sa buong Pilipinas.
