OPERATION BLESSING BRINGS FREE HEALTH SERVICES TO BARANGAY BALUNO

Residents of Barangay Baluno benefited from free medical, dental, and wellness services through the Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, Inc. Mobile Medical Clinic, which conducted a community outreach at the Baluno Covered Court on October 16.
The activity was initiated by the Tau Gamma Phi–Basilan Provincial Council and organized by Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, Inc., in cooperation with the City Government of Isabela, the Philippine Coast Guard, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and the 101st Infantry Brigade.
Also showing their support were Baluno Punong Barangay Nathaniel Rabina, Seaside Punong Barangay Fitzgerald Tan, and Pastor Ronald Paulino, Chair of SHALOM/UECI Fire & Rescue and President of ICPC.
A wide range of services was made available to the public, including medical and dental consultations, counseling, minor surgery, laboratory testing, rapid diagnostics, refraction and provision of reading glasses, free medicines, and free haircuts.
Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman paid a brief visit to express her appreciation to the volunteers and partner agencies for their collective efforts in bringing essential health services closer to the community.
Volunteer doctors and nurses from Operation Blessing and partner agencies worked hand in hand to deliver quality care and assistance, reaching residents from remote and underserved areas of the barangay.
The activity reflected the continuing collaboration among civic organizations, uniformed personnel, and the local government in promoting public health and community well-being—a true embodiment of the city’s commitment to inclusive and compassionate governance under the HAPIsabela brand of service.
