In affirmation of its commitment to inclusive and participatory governance, the City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, conducted the oath-taking ceremony for the newly appointed Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representatives (IPMRs) from three barangays on February 13.
Mayor Turabin-Hataman administered the oath and expressed her unwavering support for IP communities, emphasizing the importance of inclusive governance and the vital role of IPMRs in promoting cultural preservation and progress.
The three barangays with newly appointed IPMRs are:
Diki – Malik Hamad
San Rafael – Abdurahman Sahi Jr.
Kaumpurnah Zone III – Aksan Sawadjaan
