MGA LIDER-KABABAIHAN, NAGSANAY SA ‘DIGITAL LITERACY’

Mula Marso 11 hanggang 13, isinagawa ng Kagawaran ng Teknolohiyang Pang-Impormasyon at Komunikasyon (DICT), sa pakikipagtulungan ng Public Employment Service Office (PESO) at Gender and Development Unit, ang Digital Literacy Training para sa Kababaihan bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng National Women’s Month sa lungsod.
Layunin ng pagsasanay na palakasin ang kakayahan ng kababaihan sa paggamit ng digital tools at online platforms, at palawakin ang kanilang kaalaman sa teknolohiya, komunikasyon, at mga oportunidad sa kabuhayan. Nagkaroon ng mga praktikal na hands-on learning sessions upang ihanda ang mga kalahok sa mga hamon at pangangailangan ng digital na panahon.
Kabilang sa mga kalahok ang mga miyembro ng Isabela City Local Council of Women (LCW) at mga kinatawan mula sa DENDA, na aktibong nakibahagi sa mga talakayan at aktibidad upang higit pang mapaunlad ang kanilang digital na kakayahan. Tinalakay at ipinakita rin ang praktikal na aplikasyon ng teknolohiya sa pang-araw-araw na buhay, propesyonal na pag-unlad, at pakikilahok sa komunidad. (Kuha ni K.Galos, IsaTV)
