Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman welcomed the EU-GEP team, led by Deputy Project Manager Engr. Voltaire Acosta and LGU Advisor Roland Pereyra, at Isabela City Hall to discuss ongoing and future initiatives under the EU-Philippines Green Economy Partnership (EU-GEP). The meeting was also attended by EU-GEP team members Ricardo Alindayu II, Marla Clarisol Agas, Reynald Armand Medrano, and LCEAT members including CPDC Gay Palagtiosa, Engr. Rall Harvey Hadap, CENRMO SWM Focal Saddam Lagoyo and CSO Desk Officer Norhaiya Macusang.
Part of the EU’s Global Gateway Initiative, EU-GEP is co-funded by Germany’s Ministry for Environment and implemented by GIZ in coordination with UNDP Philippines, Expertise France, the Global Green Growth Institute, and the IFC. Co-led by DILG and DENR and implemented by UNDP, the program supports local actors in designing circular solutions, reducing waste, restoring ecosystems, strengthening community systems, and mobilizing resources across government, civil society, private sector, and marginalized groups.
