MAYOR DADAH SUPPORTS BLOODLETTING DRIVE IN OBSERVANCE OF NAT’L BLOOD DONORS MONTH

Rotary International District 3850, Zone 10, officially launched Rotary Year 2025–2026 and National Blood Donors Month with a simultaneous kick-off event held at the Philippine Red Cross Basilan Chapter Multipurpose Hall in Barangay Seaside.
The activity, led by Rotary Club President and City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, was highlighted by a bloodletting drive dubbed “UNITE for GOOD, GIVE BLOOD, SAVE LIVES.” The initiative was conducted in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Basilan Chapter. A joint project of RI District 3850 and the Council of Presidents of Zones 10 and 11, the event gathered civic groups and law enforcement agencies in a unified mission to promote voluntary blood donation and save lives.
Participating partners included the 52SAC 5SAB PNP-SAF, 19th SFC 4th SFBn SFR (A), Rotaract Club of J.S. Alano Memorial Hospital Inc., and the Isabela City People’s Council. (Words by SJ Asakil/Photos by M. Santos, CIO)
