MAYOR DADAH LEADS MOVING-UP FOR PUPILS OF CITY’S ECD CENTERS

The City Government of Isabela through its City Social Welfare and Development Office conducted the afternoon session of the 46th Moving-Up Ceremony on March 24, honoring kindergarten completers from the East and North Clusters under the theme “First Steps Towards a Brighter Future” (Munting Hakbang Tungo sa Maunlad na Kinabukasan).
A total of 576 learners, composed of 288 boys and 288 girls from 20 barangays, were recognized for successfully completing their early childhood education. The ceremony highlighted the combined efforts of teachers, parents, school officials, and the local government in supporting children’s development and preparing them for the next stage of basic education.
Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman graced the ceremony and expressed her continued support for the education sector, calling on stakeholders to remain actively involved in nurturing and guiding the next generation.
The event also reaffirmed the city’s commitment to providing accessible, inclusive, and quality education, while celebrating the readiness of the young learners to advance academically. It served as a milestone that underscores the importance of strong community support in shaping the future of the youth. (Words by SJ Asakil/Photos by M. Santos, CIO)
