MAYOR DADAH LEADS CEREMONIAL SEND-OFF FOR ISABELA CITY’S PALARONG PAMBANSA 2025 DELEGATION

On May 15, with pride and encouragement, City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman led the ceremonial send-off for the Isabela City delegation to the 2025 Palarong Pambansa, held in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte from May 15 to June 2, 2025. Joining the mayor during the ceremony were ASDS Maria Laarni Villanueva, Division Sports Officer Dr. Arnel Hajan, and Councilor and Vice Mayor-elect Ar-Jhemar Ajibon.
The delegation, composed of student-athletes, coaches, and technical officials from various public schools in Isabela City, proudly represented the Schools Division Office of Isabela City in a wide range of sporting events including taekwondo, swimming, volleyball, gymnastics, baseball, athletics, and more. Athletes hailed from Malamawi NHS, Basilan NHS, Baluno NHS, Sumagdang ES, and other schools, accompanied by officials and coaches.
As a gesture of support, each member of the delegation received a cash allowance from the City Government as a send-off gift, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to the youth and sports development. During the event, Mayor Turabin-Hataman also announced additional cash incentives for gold medalists in both team and individual events as a way to further motivate and reward outstanding performances.
