The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, through the City Population Management and Development Office/City Nutrition Affairs Office headed by CPMDO/CNAO Jesielyn Ortalla Puno, conducted the “Usapan, Pwede Pa” and “Usapan, Kuntento Na” sessions, March 18, for the Marang-Marang Women’s Association, with a total of 67 participants in attendance, in observance of National Women’s Month Celebration.
The activity aimed to strengthen awareness on responsible parenthood, family planning, and informed decision-making among women, empowering them to take an active role in promoting the health and well-being of their families and communities.
Nutrition tips were also discussed by the nutritionists-dietitians, highlighting the importance of proper nutrition, healthy food choices, and balanced diets in achieving overall family health and wellness. (Words by KJ Lim/Photos by A. Puti, IsaTV)
