LGU SERVICES TAKE SPOTLIGHT IN 2025 CITY HALL ‘OPEN HOUSE’

The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, officially opened its 3rd City Hall Open House on September 17 as part of the nationwide celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.” The three-day activity, running until September 19, invites Isabeleños to discover, experience, and engage with the various frontline programs and services of the city government.
The opening program featured welcome remarks from CHRMO Rosella Luna and a message from City Administrator Pedrito Eisma, delivered on behalf of Mayor Turabin-Hataman and Vice Mayor Ar-Jhemar Ajibon, who welcomed the participants and encouraged them to be inquisitive and engaged with the city government’s initiatives. The panel of judges was likewise introduced, composed of ICPC President Pastor Ronald Paulino, DBP Basilan Branch Manager Emily Sorilla, and Provincial Assistant Human Resource Officer Ma. Emily Trumata.
The Open House was formally launched through a ribbon-cutting ceremony that signaled the start of the festivities.
As part of the activities, registered participants received a city map, a blank jigsaw puzzle, and a Bucket List Challenge, which served as their entry passes. By visiting participating offices, guests could collect puzzle pieces and complete their puzzles for a chance to win prizes. The first 50 visitors to finish their puzzles received exclusive giveaways, while the first 100 to complete the sticker collection from each office also brought home rewards. Participants likewise underwent an orientation on the proper Open House guidelines.
The Open House offers residents a opportunity to meet and interact with city officials and employees, explore the functions of various government offices, and take part in fun and interactive activities.
