LGU-ISABELA CITY HANDS MORE THAN 300 SACKS OF RICE TO SECURITY FORCES, PDLs

As part of its ongoing commitment to public safety and welfare, the City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman and represented by City Administrator Pedrito Eisma, turned over 372 sacks of 25-kg rice amounting to P588,783 to various uniformed personnel, June 17. The initiative was funded under the city’s Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan.
The distribution included 100 sacks for the PNP-Special Action Force (SAF) valued at P158,300; 103 sacks for CAFGU units worth P163,049; 63 sacks to PUPC at P99,729; 31 sacks for PNP personnel totaling P48,980; and 75 sacks for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) amounting to P118,725, received by Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Isabela City Jail.
This initiative reflects the city’s proactive approach in supporting law enforcement and custodial sectors, while also ensuring that basic needs of those in detention are met.
