LGU-ISABELA CITY “DALI NA! MERYENDA TA!” SPREADS JOY AND INCLUSION

In a heartwarming display oinclusivity, the City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, hosted “Dali Na!
Meryenda Ta!”—a special merienda gathering with Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and LGU employees, April 30.
The event was spearheaded by the Persons with Disability Affairs Office led by Gemma Casas-Paculio, the City Population Management and Development Office headed by CNAO/CPMDO Jesielyn Puno, and the City Tourism Office under Claudio Ramos II.
This casual and joyful gathering served as a platform for connection, appreciation, and meaningful interaction between the local government and the PWD community. It underscored the city’s ongoing commitment to inclusive engagement and to celebrating and supporting every sector of the community.
“Dali Na! Meryenda Ta!” is one of the inclusive side events of Sakayan Festival 2025, reinforcing the city’s message of unity, resilience, and shared progress. (Words by SJ Asakil/Photos by M. Santos, CIO)
