LGU-ISABELA CITY CONVENES INTER-AGENCY MEETING FOR ZPRAA 2026

Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman convened an inter-agency meeting on March 9 at the Sakayana Conference Room to discuss preparations for the arrival of delegations in April as the city gears up to host the ZPRAA Meet 2026.
The meeting focused on strengthening coordination among concerned offices and partner agencies to ensure the smooth arrival, accommodation, and mobility of athletes, coaches, and officials who will participate in the regional sporting event. Discussions also covered transportation arrangements, port coordination, and other logistical requirements to guarantee the safe and orderly arrival of participating delegations to the city.
Among those present during the meeting were Councilor Jashim Tiplani, City Legal Officer Atty. Rosebell Sanson, SAO Robert Arseña, ASDS Lyna Basri, BNHS OIC Principal and Division Sports Coordinator Dr. Arnel Hajan, and Committee on Transportation Chairperson EPS Hatta Amil. Also in attendance were representatives from the Coast Guard Station Isabela, Montenegro Shipping Lines, FastCat and PPA-Isabela.
Mayor Turabin-Hataman emphasized the importance of strong inter-agency collaboration in ensuring that Isabela City is fully prepared to welcome the athletes and guests from across the Zamboanga Peninsula.
The city government continues to work closely with partner agencies and stakeholders as part of its preparations to ensure the successful hosting of the regional athletic meet, which is expected to gather hundreds of student-athletes and officials from different provinces and cities in the region.
