LGU-ISABELA CITY, CDA IX PARTNER FOR ‘KOOP KALINGA SERBISYO CARAVAN’

In a strong push to support and empower local cooperatives, the City Government of Isabela under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman through its City Cooperative Development Office led by City Cooperative Officer Ahmad Tiplani, in collaboration with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) IX, launched the Koop Kalinga Serbisyo Caravan—a two-day event focused on delivering essential services and strengthening cooperative operations.
The caravan, held on April 22 and 23, provided a comprehensive lineup of services including consultation, technical assistance, and fast processing of Certificates of Compliance (COC).
Day one featured sessions on compliance with CDA regulations discussed by Sr. CDS Maria Christal Caindog, Republic Act 10744 or the Credit Surety Fund and Republic Act 11765 or the Financial Consumers Act diacussed by Sr. CDS Alvazer Duran and Koop Kapatid and CS Accreditation by CDS II Lodith Castillo.
The Koop Kalinga Serbisyo Caravan forms part of Isabela’s continuous efforts to strengthen cooperative enterprises and promote inclusive, community-based economic development.
