LARGA ISABELA WITH KONSI JAY CASAS

Upon assuming office as returning City Councilor of the 9th Sangguniang Panlungsod, the new majority floor leader, Councilor Jeromy ‘Jay’ Casas, chaired the Consultative Meeting on July 2, alongside the accredited civil society organizations within Isabela City held at SP Hall.
With the coordination of Isabela People’s Council headed by the President of Local Women’s Council (LCW) Sheila Pagarigan, The meeting underscored the objectives and purpose of making project proposals which focuses on addressing fundamental needs of each associations.
Continuing as the Committee Chair of Accredited Organizations Affairs, Councilor Casas stressed that creating partnerships through community engagements will be an advantage to identify the needs of constituents which leads in creating ordinances to promote social change.
Casas extended his support in empowering constituents to be open and encouraged the heads of every associations to be productive proposal makers that will help Isabeleños to demand their rights despite of their social status.
During the Open Forum, it was announced that conducting capacity building with the CSOs will strengthen the direction of each association to be innovative in making resolutions with a strong and inclusive vision and mission towards betterment for all.
Vice Mayor Ar-Jhemar ‘Nims’ Ajibon, Co-Chairs and Councilors Yusop ‘Benjo’ Abubakar, Karel Annjaiza Sakkalahul-Hataman, and Khaleedsher ‘Koyang’ Asarul were also in attendance to support the meaningful conference in mobilizing communities to take action, encourage civic engagements, and hold leaders accountable.
