KEY AGENCY OFFICIALS PAY COURTESY CALLS ON MAYOR DADAH

Strengthening inter-agency cooperation remains a priority of the City Government of Isabela as Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman welcomed officials from partner agencies during a series of courtesy calls focused on advancing initiatives for peace, security, environmental protection, and community development on July 14.

DENR OIC-ENRFO Cesar Delos Reyes Sr. paid a courtesy call on Mayor Turabin-Hataman to discuss collaborative efforts on environmental conservation, sustainable natural resource management, and programs promoting ecological sustainability. He was joined by LMO I Evangeline Bacolod, CENRMO Albino Orbecido, and SEMS Harvey Rall Hadap.

PNP Isabela City Police Station Chief of Police PLTCOL Wilfredo Palamos Jr., together with 902nd MC, RMFB 9B Platoon Leader PLT Alweizer Khaled Jalil, also paid a courtesy call on the City Mayor. During the visit, PLTCOL Palamos highlighted the police force’s continued efforts in enhancing police visibility, conducting anti-criminality operations, strengthening intelligence gathering, and improving coordination with barangay officials and community partners.

Based on the Isabela City Police Station’s situational update covering April 1 to July 13, 2026, a total of 65 crime incidents were recorded, consisting of 19 focus crimes, 29 non-index crimes, and 17 public safety incidents. The city’s peace and order condition remains generally peaceful and manageable, with focus crime incidents declining from seven cases in May, four in June, and one case during the first 13 days of July.

Meanwhile, 18th Infantry Battalion Commanding Officer LTC Francis S. Tupas, accompanied by 18IB Executive Officer MAJ Julie Testa, visited Mayor Turabin-Hataman to strengthen cooperation in promoting peace and security, supporting community development initiatives, and fostering a safe and resilient Isabela City.

The courtesy visits underscored the shared commitment of the City Government of Isabela and its partner agencies to advancing responsive governance through strengthened collaboration, ensuring effective public service delivery, and promoting the welfare of the Isabeleño community.
