Isabela City warmly welcomed the distinguished Islamic scholars, educators, and leaders who arrived in Basilan on August 28, 2026 for the International Seminar on Islamization & Integration of Knowledge and Workshop on Leadership & Community Engagement.
As part of their arrival activities, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Provincial Government of Basilan, where they were warmly received by Provincial Administrator Manny Muarip. The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful exchange and strengthened collaboration among Islamic scholars, educators, and local leaders.
Organized by the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) East and Southeast Asia, in collaboration with the City Government of Isabela and Madrasah Al-Manarah, the two-day seminar-workshop, to be held on August 29–30, 2026, in Isabela City, brings together experts and community stakeholders to discuss Islamic education, integration of knowledge, leadership, AI and social media, economic empowerment, and community development.
