The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, welcomed key officials from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) during a monitoring visit to the Negosyo Center in Isabela City on June 18.
Representing Mayor Turabin-Hataman, City Administrator Pedrito Eisma expressed the city’s appreciation and continued support for the DTI’s initiatives. Also in attendance were City Tourism Officer Claudio Ramos II and LEDIPO Chief Jaime Juanito Rivera.
The DTI delegation was led by Assistant Secretary for the Regional Operations Group Grace Baluyan, and included DTI IX RD Engr. Al-Zamir Lipae, DTI CAR RD Atty. Raymond Panhon, DTI VI RD Rachel Nufable, DTI IX ARD Maridel Dengal, Zamboanga City PD Grace Aduca, Zamboanga del Norte PD Estrella Roda, ROG Division Chief Philip Jason Roque, officers Zarrabel-Ara Cahindo and Garry Micubo and MTIT Basilan Provincial Director Argie Sarco.
The visit aimed to evaluate the operations and outcomes of the Negosyo Center in supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Isabela City. The city government reaffirmed its strong commitment to collaborate with DTI and other national agencies in strengthening local economic development and entrepreneurial empowerment.
