ISABELA CITY TURNS OVER NEW PLAYGROUND IN BARANGAY BUSAY

A new safe space for play and growth was officially turned over, July 22, at Busay Elementary School, funded through the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), with P799,923.99 as total project cost.
Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman emphasized the importance of nurturing children’s holistic development, especially in an age where screen time often replaces outdoor play. “Thank you, and we are very much honored to serve you,” she expressed in gratitude to the community and school.
The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was joined by Vice Mayor Ar-jhemar Ajibon, and City Councilors Alexes Ututalum, Karel Annjaiza Sakkalahul, and Ameen Camlian. Also present were Acting City Engineer Reynaldo Dagohoy, CSWDO Nor-Aina Asmara, DepEd-Isabela City personnel, Architect Darwin Zaragoza, School Principal Alena Castillo, and SPTA President Conrad King Torress II.
Also present were representatives from CSWDO, City Assessor’s Office, and other city offices who helped make the project possible — a true example of collaborative governance for our children’s future. (With Report from E. Obedencia, BION/ Photos by K. Sencio, ISATV)
