ISABELA CITY SPARKLES WITH ALUMBRA CHRISTMAS LIGHTS 2025

Under the inclusive leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, the Local Government Unit of Isabela City officially ushered in the Christmas season with “Alumbra: The HAPIsabela Christmas Lights Switch-On Ceremony.” Coinciding with the launch of Pascua Alegria na Ciudad de Isabela, this annual tradition once again transformed the cityscape into a radiant spectacle, marking the beginning of a season filled with joy, hope, and community spirit.
As the switch-on moment illuminated the city, residents and visitors were greeted with dazzling light displays that now brighten various landmarks across Isabela City. The enchanting glow aims not only to enhance the Yuletide atmosphere but also to uplift spirits and bring people together after a year of shared challenges and achievements. The lights serve as a symbolic gesture of renewed faith, unity, and gratitude—values deeply embraced by the Isabeleño community.
This year’s festive installations span several key locations, including the Isabela City Hall Lobby, Plaza Misericordia, Plaza Rizal, Sta. Isabel de Portugal Cathedral, the Bridge of Lights, Isabela City Park, and the scenic Fuego-Fuego Beachfront in Tabiawan. Each site now features carefully curated decorations, thematic lighting displays, and enhanced public spaces that invite families, friends, and visitors to gather, take photos, and share in the joyous atmosphere.
The LGU expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all individuals and offices who dedicated their time, expertise, and energy to bring the city’s festive vision to life. Special acknowledgment is extended to the hardworking teams from the City Tourism Office, City Engineering Office, City General Services Office, and the city’s security forces, whose coordination and commitment ensured the safe installation, constant monitoring, and overall success of the citywide Christmas displays.
