The City Government of Isabela, through its Gender and Development (GAD) Program was invited to attend a Ceremonial Ground Painting of Lingkatan, an organization of LGBTQIA+ community in Isabela City as part of the Pride Month celebration on June 27, highlighting its commitment to inclusivity, equality, and the celebration of diversity.
A heartfelt welcome message was delivered by Saudi Alasa, President of Lingkatan, who emphasized the need for continued efforts to uplift and thrive in the city. Representing Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, City Information Officer and concurrent Gender and Development Focal Person Mendry-Ann Lim delivered a short message, reaffirming the City Government’s dedication to inclusive governance.
