The streets of Isabela City came alive with color, creativity, and radiant displays as the much-awaited Parade of Lights illuminated the city on Saturday, April 25, in celebration of the Sakayan Festival and the city’s 25th Charter Anniversary.
Participants from various sectors assembled at the East Terminal in Barangay Sunrise, showcasing intricately designed floats, vibrant costumes, and dazzling light installations. The parade route transformed into a glowing spectacle as contingents made their way through the city, drawing cheers and admiration from residents and visitors alike.
Each participating group highlighted not only artistic excellence but also cultural identity and community pride, reflecting the festival’s theme, “Isabela City at 25: Reflections and Directions.” The parade served as a moving showcase of Isabela City’s journey through the years and its aspirations for the future.
Families lined the streets, capturing moments and celebrating together as the festive atmosphere brought people from all walks of life into a shared experience of joy and unity. The event also provided a platform for local talents, organizations, and communities to express their creativity and solidarity.
