The City Government of Isabela, under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, through its Muslim Employees Association (MEA), conducted Islamic seminars as part of its Ramadan 2026 initiatives aimed at strengthening spiritual growth and reinforcing Islamic values in the workplace.
On March 4, the city held the Ramadan Symposium 2026 at the SP Session Hall. The event featured Sheikh Hassan Mahmod Ahmad as the guest lecturer, who delivered a meaningful discussion on the theme, “My Work, My Ibada.”
The seminar series enriched participants’ understanding of Islamic teachings and emphasized the importance of spiritual discipline, ethical conduct, accountability, and the integration of faith into public service.
Through initiatives like this, the City Government of Isabela continues to promote values-driven leadership and foster a spiritually grounded workforce in observance of Ramadhan 2026. (Words by SJ Asakil/Photos by M. Santos, CIO)
