HDF ENERGY, REURASIA MET WITH LOCAL OFFICIALS TO DISCUSS PROPOSED GREEN HYDROGEN POWER PROJECT FOR BASILAN

Hydrogen de France (HDF) Energy, a global pioneer in hydrogen power solutions, together with its consulting partner REurasia Management Corporation, met with Isabela City officials on December 2 to discuss the proposed development of a green hydrogen power plant aimed at strengthening Basilan’s energy reliability and long-term sustainability.
The meeting formed part of the delegation’s visit, during which representatives introduced an innovative system that integrates solar energy generation with hydrogen and lithium-ion battery storage. The proposed facility is envisioned to provide more stable, secure, and resilient electricity for Basilan, addressing long-standing power challenges that continue to affect households and economic activities.
Present during the meeting was City Administrator Pedrito Eisma, representing Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman. Also in attendance were Councilors Yusop Abubakar, Alexes Infante, Khaleedsher Asarul, and Jashim Tiplani, along with LEDIPO Chief Jaime Juanito Rivera and representatives from CPDO.
HDF Energy and REurasia representatives outlined the project’s potential to enhance grid stability, support economic growth, and potentially reduce long-term power generation costs. REurasia also detailed its role as the consulting partner responsible for project development, assessment, and coordination. Following the discussion, the delegation proceeded to visit several potential project sites previously identified during initial evaluations.
