GOGO ISABELA CARAVAN, LOCAL AMNESTY BOARD, DUMAYO SA MASOLA

Umabot na sa pinakamalayong barangay ng Lungsod ng Isabela, ang GoGo Isabela Caravan Team, kasama sina Nagdilaab Executive Director Miriam “Dedette” Suacito at Nagdilaab staff at Focal on Governance Paulo Lataba, ika-24 ng Agosto.
Ang GoGo Isabela Caravan ay bahagi ng inisyatiba ni Punong Lungsod Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman na naglalayong palakasin ang pagiging bukas sa pamamahala sa Lungsod ng Isabela. Layunin nitong magbigay ng oportunidad sa mga miyembro ng komunidad na makilahok at maunawaan ang mga proseso at programa ng pamahalaang lokal.
Nakiisa rin ang Lupon ng Lokal na Amnestiya o Local Amnesty Board ng Basilan na pinangungunahan ni Punong Lungsod Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman kasama ang lokal na tanggapan ng Pambansang Komisyon sa Amnestiya (NAC) sa pangunguna ni PPO Rabia Salapuddin at mga kasamahan nito sa Good Governance o GoGo Isabela Caravan upang magbahagi ng mga pinakahuling impormasyon tungkol sa estado ng aplikasyon para sa programang amnestiya. Bilang isang inisyatiba para sa kapayapaan, layunin nilang ipaliwanag ang mga benepisyo ng amnestiya, na idinisenyo upang hikayatin ang mga dating rebelde na muling bumalik-loob sa lipunan.
Ang Barangay Masola ay ang pinakamalayong barangay sa Lungsod ng Isabela at isa sa mga barangay na dating hindi nabibigyan ng pansin at mga proyekto ng pamahalaan dahil kinakatakutan at nagsilbing kuta ng mga rebelde sa mahabang panahon. (Sulat ni S. Angging/Kuha ni KJ Evardo, IsaTV)
