FLOOD CONTROL/DRAINAGE PROJECT IN ISABELA CITY

Meron pa bang pagbaha sa may Mabuhay ngayon?

Matagal-tagal rin ang pagtitiis ng mga Isabeleños sa problema ng pagbaha sa tuwing matindi ang buhos ng ulan sa bahaging ito ng lungsod. Halos hindi na madaanan ng mga tao at sasakyan at sarado ang mga establisyemento malapit sa Isabela Town Proper dahil sa mataas na pagbaha.

Ang pagtatayo ng mga sistema ng flood control at drainage sa Isabela City Proper, na may kabuuang haba na 4,370.50 linear meters at may budget na PHP 130,267,563.63 mula sa General Appropriations Act (GAA) 2018, ay isang mahalagang proyekto ng imprastruktura bilang tugon problem ng pagbaha. Pinangunahan ng DPWH-Regional Office IX at ni Deputy Minority Leader at Basilan Lone District Representative Mujiv Hataman ang inisyatibong ito.

Ang proyektong ito ay hindi lamang nagpapabuti sa kaligtasan ng publiko at kalidad ng buhay kundi pati na rin sa katatagan ng ekonomiya sa pamamagitan ng pag-iwas sa pagkaantala ng mga operasyon ng negosyo at serbisyong pampubliko.
