DSWD USEC. DIMAPORO VISITS ISABELA CITY

Department of Social Welfare and Development Undersecretary Fatima Aliah Dimaporo met with Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman and Basilan Lone District Representative Mujiv Hataman, June 28 during the former’s first visit in Isabela City.

Usec. Dimaporo also met with stakeholders, including IP leaders at Barangay Tampalan, relevant government agencies such as the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples-Basilan and the Schools Division Office of Isabela City, for a consultation regarding the DSWD Kalahi-CIDSS program.

Together with other officials of DSWD IX and its central office, Usec. Dimaporo’s visit is aimed on discussing strategies for implementing this community-driven development initiative in Isabela City, emphasizing community engagement and inclusive decision-making processes to promote sustainable development.
