The Department of Social Welfare and Development IX led by regional director Riduan Hadjimuddin together with SWADT-Leader DSWD Isabela City Field Officer Aisyl Sagoso, DSWD Property Officer Engr. Rolieste Falsis and DSWD Chief Administrative Officer Renato Fojas met with Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman on July 22, to discuss the Construction of the Women’s Crisis Intervention Center at Barangay Sunrise as per Annual Investment Program of 2025. Also, present during the discussion were Atty. Rosebelle Sanson and City Assessor Vido Yu.
The Women’s Crisis Intervention Center offers a safe and secure housing for women who need to escape violent situations, providing a haven from immediate danger, acting as a safe space and the first point of contact for women seeking help, connecting them to vital support systems.
