The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office IX paid a courtesy call on City Administrator Pedrito Eisma, representing Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, on April 14 for the conduct of a Service Delivery Capacity Assessment in Isabela City. An exit conference was also held following the assessment.
The activity aimed to evaluate and strengthen the delivery of social welfare programs and services, identifying strengths in personnel commitment and existing initiatives while highlighting areas for improvement, including system enhancements, resource allocation, and capacity-building. The findings provide a comprehensive basis for actionable steps to improve service quality, efficiency, and inclusiveness, which city officials welcomed as they reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening social welfare services for all Isabeleños.
