The City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, through the City Population Management and Development Office (CPMDO) headed by Jesielyn Puno, conducted a Film Viewing of Kahidlaw and an Adolescent Health and Development (AHD) Orientation for 170 Grade 8 students of Begang National High School on July 20.
The participants, composed of 97 male and 73 female students, watched Kahidlaw, a film that highlights the realities and consequences of early pregnancy. This was followed by an AHD orientation that encouraged students to make informed decisions, set positive life goals, and prioritize their health and well-being.

The activity also provided a safe and supportive venue for students to reflect on the film’s message and discuss adolescent issues, reinforcing the City’s commitment to promoting adolescent health, responsible decision-making, and youth empowerment.
The CPMDO likewise expressed its appreciation to the administration, faculty, and students of Begang National High School for their active participation and continued partnership in empowering young Isabeleños.
