The City Government of Isabela, under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, conducted a series of budget hearings in preparation for the Calendar Year 2026 Annual General Fund Budget, ensuring that essential programs and projects for the coming year are well-planned and aligned with the city’s development agenda.
Held on September 24, the hearings gathered department heads and program focal persons to present their proposed budgets and submit the required Local Budget Preparation Forms for consolidation. Among the offices that participated were the City Information Office, the City Social Welfare and Development Office led by CSWDO Nor-Aina Asmara, the City Information Office and GAD Unit led by Mendry-Ann Lim, along with representatives from other key departments tasked with implementing vital services for Isabeleños. Also present were Councilors Ameen Camlian, Alexes Ututalum, Khaleedsher Asarul and SK Federation President Naila Belleng, among others.
The hearings provided a platform for offices to justify their budgetary needs, discuss priority programs, and align proposals with the city’s thrusts on good governance, social development, disaster preparedness, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.
