The Closing Ceremony of the Sakayan Festival 2026 reached a thrilling high point with “Eksena: The LGU Concert Extravaganza Face-Off!”, an electrifying showcase that brought together the best of talent, creativity, and collaboration from the workforce of the City Government of Isabela, May 2, at the Isabela City Park.
Rising above the competition, Cluster 1 claimed the grand championship with a powerhouse performance that captivated the crowd and impressed the panel of judges. Composed of the City General Services Office, City Veterinary Office, City Cooperative Development Office, and City Assessor’s Office, the winning cluster took home P60,000 in cash and a plaque of recognition.
Cluster 5 secured Second Place, represented by the City Population Management and Development Office, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, City Health Office, and City Social Welfare and Development Office, earning P40,000 and a plaque of recognition.
Meanwhile, Cluster 2, made up of the City Agriculture Office, Sangguniang Panlungsod, and City Engineering Office, finished in Third Place, receiving P20,00000 and a plaque of recognition.
The distinguished panel of judges included Charles Anthony Rotoni of the Provincial Tourism Office of Zamboanga del Norte; Verlyn Garciona of the Philippine Dance Federation in Zamboanga City; Mohammad Bennajir Jul of the Kahayag Dance Company in Dumaguete City; Barbara Mon, a retired government employee of Isabela City; and LTJG Muammar Payao, Station Commander of CGS Isabela.
More than just a competition, “Eksena” stood as a powerful celebration of unity, teamwork, and shared pride among government employees—an unforgettable highlight of the 25th Charter Anniversary of Isabela City.
