CDC EXECOM REVIEWS PROPOSED DAR-IPARC INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

The Executive Committee of the City Development Council (CDC) convened on July 21 at the City Health Office (CHO) Conference Hall, with the meeting presided over by City Administrator Pedrito Eisma, to discuss priority infrastructure projects and other key development concerns for Isabela City.

One of the meeting’s key agenda items was the presentation by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) on the proposed infrastructure sub-projects under the Department of Agrarian Reform–Inclusive Partnership for Agrarian Reform Communities (DAR-IPARC) Flagship Development Initiative for Isabela City. The proposed sub-projects include the construction of multi-purpose buildings/warehouses and multi-purpose pavements/solar dryers in Barangays Menzi and Baluno, with a total estimated project cost of P9 million. Following the presentation, the Executive Committee proposed and seconded a resolution expressing its support for the implementation of the DAR-IPARC Program in Isabela City.

Present during the meeting were DARMO-Isabela OIC MARPO Ayda Reyes, DAR Sibugay ARPO I Engr. Alfaro Bermudez, and DAR Zamboanga Sibugay ARPO II Lowell Lozada. Also in attendance were Vice Mayor Ar-Jhemar Ajibon, represented by Sangguniang Panlungsod Secretary Atty. Justin Jude Briones; Councilor James Abner Rodriguez; Isabela City People’s Council (ICPC) President Pastor Ronald Paulino; Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) Panglima Jamalul Habibun; City Engineer Mario Rayman Rubio; City Planning and Development Coordinator Gay Palagtiosa; Nagdilaab Foundation, Inc. Executive Director Miriam Suacito; CAgO Engineer III Nur Tasneem Salih; and Agriculturist II Jonathan Pedillon.
