BJMP REGIONAL DIRECTOR VISITS ISABELA CITY, EYES STRONGER JAIL MANAGEMENT PARTNERSHIP

As part of the City Government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen inter-agency coordination and enhance local jail management systems, BJMP Region IX Regional Director JCSUPT Amado Concepcion Jr. paid a courtesy visit to Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman on July 30. He was joined by BJMP IX Comptrollership Chief JSUPT Christopher Ramirez and Acting Isabela City Jail Warden JSINSP Arnan Matangal.
The visit underscored the BJMP’s continued commitment to advancing humane safekeeping and rehabilitation programs for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). Director Concepcion conveyed the Bureau’s intent to deepen its partnership with the City Government of Isabela in implementing safety-oriented and developmental reforms, including updates on lot-related matters crucial for future facility improvements.
In a separate engagement, Mayor Turabin-Hataman also convened a meeting with several Punong Barangays from coastal and mainland communities, including Carbon, Diki, Lampinigan, Maligue, Masula, Seaside, Sta. Barbara, and Sunrise. She was joined by City Administrator and concurrent Barangay Affairs and Governance Officer Pedrito Eisma.
