ASoG LAUNCHES DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOPS IN ISABELA CITY FOR BETTER HEALTH BUDGET MANAGEMENT

The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG), through its policy think tank Ateneo Policy Center, has officially selected Isabela City as one of the pilot sites for the project Maximizing Local Government Fiscal Performance of Health Budget.
On Tuesday, September 16, a major milestone, the project in Isabela City kicks off with a series of design thinking workshops that brought together selected offices—including health, budget, and planning units—to co-create innovative, practical, and context-specific solutions to long-standing fiscal management challenges. These sessions aim to strengthen coordination among key offices and improve the efficiency of public health service delivery.
Backed by the Unilab Center for Health Policy and endorsed by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), the initiative seeks to boost LGUs’ capacity to strategically plan, allocate, and utilize health budgets to better serve communities.
