BAGONG COVERED COURT, PATUBIG, KALOOB NG PAMAHALAANG LOKAL NG MAKIRI

Dalawang proyekto ang pinasinayaan ni Punong Lungsod Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman sa Barangay Makiri, Hunyo 6, kung saan siya ay sinamahan ni CGSO Eugene Strong, mga kawani ng Tanggapan ng Inhenyeriya at malugod na tinanggap ng Pamahalaang Pangbarangay ng Makiri sa pangunguna ni Punong Barangay Alkarim Hamad.

Una rito ay ang proyekto ng patubig na nagkakahalaga ng P2,494,111.72 at inaasahang magbibigay ng malinis na pagkukunan ng tubig para sa mga residente ng nasabing barangay.

Pangalawa naman ay ang Barangay Makiri Multipurpose Covered Court na may halagang P3,781,497.22, na pinaunlakan pa ng isang laro ng basketball na kinagiliwan ng mga nagsitipon para sa pasinaya.

Ang kaparehong proyekto ay tinustusan ng 20% Development Fund ng pamahalaang lokal. (Sulat ni SJ Asakil, CIO/Kuha ni J. Segovia, IsaTV)
