3RD SCOUT RANGER BATTALION WELCOMES NEW COMMANDER IN FORMAL CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY

The Headquarters of the 3rd Scout Ranger (Excelsior) Battalion, First Scout Ranger Regiment, formally conducted its Change of Command Ceremony on April 10 at Camp Luis R. Biel II in Barangay Tabiawan.
The ceremony marked the official transfer of authority and responsibility from outgoing Commanding Officer LTC Lawrence San Juan to incoming Commanding Officer LTC Dranreb Lansang, highlighting the military’s commitment to continuity of leadership, operational excellence, and service to the nation.
Serving as Presiding General was BGEN Isagani Criste, Commander of the First Scout Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Command, Philippine Army, who underscored the importance of leadership transition in sustaining mission readiness and advancing peace and security efforts in the region.
The ceremony was graced by Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman and Basilan Governor Mujiv Hataman, along with other local chief executives, whose presence emphasized the strong partnership between the local government and the armed forces in promoting unity, stability, and development in Basilan.
