26 MAGSASAKA, NAGSANAY SA COCONUT-BASED ORGANIC FARMING

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng City Government of Isabela, sa pamamagitan ng Gender and Development (GAD) Unit, katuwang ang EarthSoul Agri-Techno Farm Institute, Inc., ang 10-araw na Training on Coconut-Based Integrated Organic Agriculture Production na ginanap mula Enero 19 hanggang Enero 29, 2026.
Ang naturang pagsasanay ay bahagi ng taunang programang pang-kabuhayan ng GAD, at ito ang ika-anim (6th) na organic agriculture training na naisagawa mula taong 2021, bilang patuloy na hakbang ng lungsod sa pagsusulong ng sustenableng agrikultura at inklusibong kaunlaran.
Ang masinsinang pagsasanay ay naglalayong hasain ang mga kalahok sa kaalaman at kasanayan sa organikong agrikultura, na nakatuon sa makakalikasan at pangmatagalang pamamaraan ng pagsasaka. Kabilang sa mga naging bahagi nito ang orientation sa kahalagahan ng pagiging magsasaka, farm area assessment at crop planning, paggawa ng organic concoctions, plot at bedding preparation, vermiculture production, seedling propagation, at iba pang praktikal na gawain sa organikong pagsasaka.
Ang pagsasanay ay pinangunahan at ginabayan ng mga eksperto sa larangan ng agrikultura, sa pamumuno ni G. Ibno D. Turabin, katuwang si Ms. Eva Cuenca, TESDA Trainer, na nagbigay ng hands-on demonstrations at teknikal na kaalaman sa mga trainees.
Sa pamamagitan ng programang ito, patuloy na isinusulong ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Isabela ang organic agriculture, food security, at inclusive livelihood development, bilang paghahanda sa mga trainees para sa kanilang pagtatapos at aktwal na aplikasyon ng kanilang mga natutunan.
