The spotlight of the HAPIsabela Sports Festival 2025 shone brightly on the Bench Cheering Competition, one of the most awaited and vibrant highlights of the citywide celebration. The event turned the venue into a showcase of rhythm, unity, and creativity as clusters of city employees rallied behind their teams with cheers, chants, and choreography.
After an electrifying display of spirit and performance, Cluster VII emerged as champion, captivating both the judges and the audience with their seamless coordination, powerful vocal presence, and creative routines. Their performance stood out as a crowd favorite, blending humor, artistry, and discipline that energized their fellow employees.
Cluster V secured the first runner-up title, bringing the house alive with their synchronized cheers and spirited moves, while Cluster II claimed second runner-up for their lively participation and inventive use of props that added flair and excitement to their routine.
The Bench Cheering Competition drew some of the loudest cheers and applause of the entire festival, showing that beyond athletic competition, creativity and teamwork are at the heart of Isabela City’s workforce.
Also one of the highlights was the awarding of winners in the Sports Festival, which featured competitions in basketball, volleyball, badminton, and chess. Cluster I emerged as the overall champion, demonstrating dominance in several sporting events. Individual athletes were also recognized, such as Jasim Agga, who was named Basketball MVP, and Arnielyn Cariño, Volleyball MVP.
