The City Government of Isabela under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, through its City Information Office (CIO) and City Human Resource Management Office and in collaboration with the Muslim Employees Association (MEA), hosted the 2nd Edition of the “5 Pillars Quiz Show – LGU Isabela City Employees’ Edition” as part of its Ramadan activities for 2025. The event gathered 24 participants from various offices and departments of the city government in a friendly but educational competition aimed at deepening understanding of the five pillars of Islam among LGU employees.
The quiz show saw participants grouped into six teams, competing in elimination rounds before advancing to the finals. In the first elimination round, Team 2 narrowly defeated Team 1 with a score of 31 to 29 points, while Team 4 dominated Team 3 with an impressive 55 to 12 points. Meanwhile, Team 5 bested Team 6 with a score of 39 to 27 points.
In the final round, Team 4 secured the championship title after earning 25 points, while Team 2 finished as 1st runner-up with 9 points, and Team 5 clinched 2nd runner-up honors with 7 points.
The quiz show highlighted the city’s commitment to promoting interfaith understanding, inclusivity, and cultural awareness among its employees. It also provided a platform for employees to engage in meaningful learning experiences while fostering teamwork and camaraderie across departments.
