In celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), the City Government of Isabela under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman successfully conducted a day-long Employee Wellness and Sports Activity on September 1, bringing together city government employees for a day of sports, wellness, and camaraderie.
City Human Resource Management Officer Rosella Luna highlighted the dedication and commitment of government employees in serving the public during the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary Celebration 2026 with the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal at Galing Para sa Bayan.”
Luna emphasized that every government worker plays an important role in nation-building by delivering services with compassion, integrity, and excellence. She encouraged employees to continue serving with puso, dangal, at galing as they contribute to building a progressive and people-centered Isabela City.









City Administrator Pedrito Eisma encouraged city government employees to remain dedicated to their duties, recognizing their efforts, sacrifices, and commitment to serving Isabela City. He urged employees to continue working together, giving their best, and strengthening collaboration to achieve more and exceed the expectations of the community.
Eisma also highlighted the importance of camaraderie and unity, encouraging employees to participate in activities that foster stronger relationships and promote a positive working environment for the betterment of Isabela City.
The program featured the Bench Cheering Competition among Clusters 1, 3, and 4, which energized participants and showcased teamwork, creativity, and sportsmanship among city employees.
Cluster 1, composed of the City General Services Office (CGSO), emerged as the champion, while Cluster 4, composed of the City Assessor’s Office (CAsO), City Information Office (CIO), City Health Office (CHO), City Population Management and Development Office (CPMDO), City Engineering Office (CEO), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), and Cooperative Office (COOP), secured second place. Third place was awarded to Cluster 3, composed of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP), City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCR), City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), City Agriculture Office (CAgO), City Veterinary Office (CVO), City Tourism Office (CTO), and City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).
Meanwhile, City Vice Mayor Ar-Jhemar Ajibon led the Oath of Sportsmanship and the ceremonial Jump Ball, officially opening the sports activities. The ceremony highlighted the importance of fair play, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among participating athletes as they began the different competitions.
Employees also benefited from the Wellness Session, which provided free manicure and pedicure, massage, haircut, medical check-up, and dental check-up services. Additional services and assistance were also provided by PhilHealth LHIO, SSS, DICT, and TESDA, among others.
The activity reflects the City Government’s continuing commitment to supporting the health, wellness, teamwork, and morale of its employees, recognizing that a healthy and motivated workforce is essential to delivering quality public service to the people of Isabela City.
