POGS STRENGTHENS HEALTHCARE PARTNERSHIP WITH CITY GOVERNMENT

Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman welcomed officials of the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (POGS) during a courtesy call on July 16 to strengthen collaboration in healthcare services.

The delegation was led by POGS RH Head Dr. Anna Belen Alensuela and POGS Regional Director for Western Mindanao Dr. Jennifer Araneta, together with Dr. Diosdado Mariano, Dr. Benjamin Cuenca, Dr. Lyra Ruth Clemente-Chua, and Dr. Dennis Jose Delgado from POGS National, along with representatives from DKT Health, Inc. Also in attendance was Vice Mayor Ar-Jhemar Ajibon.

Discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening linkages with healthcare organizations to improve access to quality medical services, promote health awareness, and support programs that address the needs of women, mothers, and families in the community.

Mayor Turabin-Hataman expressed appreciation for POGS’ support and reaffirmed the City Government’s commitment to working with healthcare organizations in advancing programs that promote the health and well-being of women, mothers, and families. The courtesy visit highlighted the shared commitment to building stronger healthcare partnerships and delivering inclusive health services to the community.
