As part of the 48th National Disability Rights Week 2026, the City Government of Isabela, through the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and the City Persons with Disability Affairs Office (CPDAO), conducted a Medical and Dental Mission for persons with disabilities (PWDs) from the island barangays of Malamawi, Carbon, Diki, Tampalan, Lukbuton, and Sta. Barbara.
A total of 100 PWD beneficiaries received free medical consultations, dental check-ups, and other essential healthcare services, reaffirming the City Government’s commitment to providing accessible and inclusive healthcare.
The activity was made possible through the support of Dr. Rehab Hayre, Dr. Abdulmanar Saliddin, Dr. Fatima Sharyn Angsa, physicians from the City Health Office (CHO), nurses from RHU West, RHU East, and the Super Health Center, together with the dedicated personnel of the CSWDO and CPDAO, reflecting the City’s continued commitment to improving the health and well-being of persons with disabilities.
