PASANGEN CULTURAL DANCE TROUPE WOWS SAKAYAN CROWD IN PERFORMANCE CONCERT

Graceful movements, vibrant rhythms, and stories of heritage came alive during the Pasangen Cultural Dance Troupe Performance, April 27, at the Isabela City Grandstand.
In celebration of the 25th Charter Anniversary of Isabela City and the 2026 Sakayan Festival, the stage was transformed into a living canvas of culture as various dance troupes delivered captivating performances rooted in tradition and history. Each presentation showcased a fusion of indigenous, Moro, and contemporary cultural influences—featuring intricate footwork, expressive storytelling, colorful costumes, and synchronized formations that reflected the diverse identity and rich heritage of the community.
From lively folk-inspired dances to deeply symbolic pieces portraying historical narratives and local traditions, every performance carried meaning and pride—bringing the audience on a journey through time and culture.
Guided by the creative direction of City Tourism Officer Claudio Ramos II, the entire showcase unfolded as a seamless celebration of artistry and cultural preservation, leaving spectators in awe and admiration.
In recognition of their dedication and outstanding performances, the Pasangen Cultural Dance Troupes were awarded Certificates of Appreciation.
The night culminated on a high note as the crowd was serenaded by the electrifying live performance of Brodiax Band, bringing energy, music, and celebration to a perfect close.
A night of culture, rhythm, and unity—truly a memorable highlight of the Sakayan Festival. (Words by R. Albani, GAD/Photos by J. Segovia, IsaTV)
